At least 85 people are feared dead after a South Korean plane skidded off the runway slamming into a concrete fence after its landing gear failed to deploy.
At the time of the incident, the Jeju Air passenger plane was carrying a total of 181 people and the rescuers rushed to the scene to pull them out as confirmed by the National Fire Agency.

The agency continued by confirming that the 85 passengers who perished comprised of 46 women and 39 men and that they deployed 32 fire engines and several helicopters to contain the fire.
A footage of the incident revealed how the airline landed and its gear failed to deploy before it skidded on the runway before hitting a concrete wall that was ahead of it. A huge inferno engulfed the plane before coming to a stop.
