A structure has on Wednesday collapsed in Rongo Subcounty, Migori County with unknown number of people feared to have been trapped.
Revealing the news was Red Cross who noted that there team was on ground working to provide assistance to the affected.

“A structure has collapsed in Rongo Subcounty, Migori, with an unknown number of people feared trapped. Response teams are on the ground, working to provide assistance.” they said
The response has however managed to account for all individuals except for one person who is yet to be found. Four people who sustained injuries after the incident have been taken to the hospital for treatment and discharged.
“Response teams at the collapsed building in Rongo Subcounty, Migori County, have accounted for all individuals except one. Efforts to locate the missing person are ongoing.
Four passersby who were injured have been treated and discharged.” said Kenya Red Cross
