Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its allies have reached an agreement to form a parallel government even the move has been seen as a move towards splitting the war torn country.
“The charter has been signed,” United Civil Forces spokesperson Najm al-Din Drisa told AFP after getting the deal done.

The closed door agreement made in Nairobi saw both parties declare in one voice say that the have established a government of peace and unity in rebel controlled areas.
In the last two years, the war that erupted in the country and involved the country’s military saw over 12 million affected by it causing the United Nation to declare it the largest hunger and displacement crises.
Those involved in the deal include Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) leader of South Kordofan and Blue Nile state Abdelaziz al-Hilu and Abdel Rahim Daglo, deputy of RSF and brother to RSF commander Mohamed Hamdan Daglo.
