The Energy Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has on Monday confirmed reduced prices of Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosine.
In their latest review, EPRA confirmed that Super Petrol has reduced by Ksh 1.95, Diesel by Ksh 2.2 and Kerosine by Ksh 2.4 per litre.

“In accordance with Section 101(y) of the Petroleum Act 2019 and Legal Notice No.192 of 2022, we have calculated the maximum retail prices of petroleum products, which will be in force from 15thApril 2025 to 14th May 2025.
In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene decreases by KShs.1.95/litre, KShs.2.20/litre and KShs.2.40/litre respectively.
In Nairobi, Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene now retail at Kshs.174.63, Kshs.164.86 and Kshs.148.99 effective midnight for the next 30 days
The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020″ read the notice
