The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has confirmed that the portal used to check the just released 2024 KCSE examination results is fully functional.
This after earlier reports confirmed that the portal was not working as the KNEC website was down and candidates could only check there results through there.
According to the council, the failure to check the results was as a result of a high number of request being sent to the portal of up to 300,000 hits per second.
“The portal for checking the 2024 KCSE examination results is fully functional and candidates are receiving their results. The minor delays in receiving feedback is due to the high number of requests being sent to the portal, of up to 300,000 hits per second. We urge Kenyans to be patient and assure them that everyone will be able to access their results.” said KNEC
