Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has confirmed the worst fear facing allies of President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 general election.
Taking on social media, Sifuna said that the allies of President William Ruto are aware that they have no way of winning the coming elections thus the chest thumping.
“It is obvious the President’s men know the gig is up and nothing can be done to change his fortunes in 2027. All that chest thumping from Sudi and Kamket are attempts to mask the fact that they have accepted his fate.” He said

He continued by recounting how they in the ODM were sold the assurance that they will win the election because they had the backup of ‘deepstate’ at the time but that did not reflect in the election results.
“There will never be another 2007 where the will of the people is overturned. We in Azimio were sold similar stories in 2022 ati sijui deepstate will “help” mara hatuezi wachia mwizi, but in the end once Kenyans express themselves at the ballot thats it.” he continued
This is the second time in a week that the Senator has expressed his concern over the action of those close to the Head of State. After the burial ceremony of Speaker Moses Wetangula’s mother, Sifuna questioned if those are the same people advising him.
“I have been shocked beyond words by some of the speeches here in Bungoma County. If those who spoke are the people he listens to, Ruto is in more trouble than he knows. Freedom of speech cannot be limited beyond the limitations in Article 33.
Even that Computer Misuse law those ignorant leaders have cited is Unconstitutional. Social media is not the problem. The problem is the policies of this regime that continue to hurt Kenyans. Tumeanza mwaka vibaya sana.” he said
