Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has requested not to be included in the Ghana squad for the upcoming games.
This is to allow the 30-year-old regain full fitness following recent series of injuries that have seen him sidelined for a significant period of time.

“Thomas Partey, not included in Ghana squad for the upcoming games as he “asked to be excused from the game to gain full fitness following recent injuries”.
Arsenal appreciated that as they want Thomas to be 100% fit for the final two months of the season.” said Fabrizio Romano
At the same time, Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães has withdrawn from Brazil squad due to an injury as confirmed by the Brazilian Federation.
