Three people have been arrested as they attempted to sell an AK47 refile in Lokichoggio, Turkana County to unsuspecting individual.
The three tried to sell the rifle with an empty magazine to the unsuspecting buyer when the police ambushed and arrested them.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the rifle did not have a serial number that could be traced to the source and that three were two 20-year-old and a 19-year-old.
The police will now seek to gather information if the three have been involved in any other similar business before and where they had obtained the weapon from.
The news comes at a time when the government has banned the sell and use of illegal weapons in the region so as to curb the unrest witnessed.
