Nairobi, Kenya, February 5, 2025…
The Hub Karen has announced the winner of the grand prize from its Shop and Win Campaign, which ran from November 30, 2024, to January 19, 2025.
Lucy Chege emerged as the grand prize winner and will be treated to a luxurious five-day family vacation in Mauritius, for herself and three companions. The prize includes full-board accommodation, exclusive island tours, and return flights. Sharon Grace, who won second place, will enjoy a two-night getaway for two in Zanzibar, while the third winner, Kelly Wairimu Davis, received a shopping voucher worth Ksh. 150,000 to be spent at any of The Hub Karen’s outlets.
Jacobus Visser, The Hub Karen’s Mall Manager, expressed his appreciation while presenting the prizes to the Shop and Win winners: “We congratulate Lucy, Sharon, and Kelly on their win and thank them for their continued loyalty. We are grateful for their choice of The Hub Karen as their shopping destination. This campaign is a way to show our gratitude to all our customers for including us in their holiday season, and we look forward to creating even more memorable experiences for them in the future.”
The campaign, held during the festive season in December, saw the three lucky shoppers win exciting prizes. To enter, customers simply had to make a minimum purchase of Ksh. 2,500 at any store within The Hub Karen, which led to thousands of entries.
The Shop and Win Competition is part of The Hub Karen’s ongoing efforts to create memorable shopping experiences for its customers, celebrating the holiday season and showing appreciation for their loyalty.
This commitment is further reflected in the recent additions to the tenant mix at the mall, with international skincare brand Natural Lamu and Egypt’s baby and children’s fashion brand, Mini Town Team, joining the growing list of international brands at The Hub Karen.
These stores add to the over 85 international brands already available at the open-air mall, strengthening The Hub Karen’s position as a premier shopping destination in Nairobi.
Jacobus Visser welcomed the new stores, noting that their arrival will enhance the retail experience for customers at the mall.
He said, “We are optimistic that the presence of these new retailers will not only boost our weekly foot traffic but will also broaden the range of high-end products that align with the aspirations of our diverse customer base.
The Hub Karen is Nairobi’s leading family entertainment and lifestyle destination mall in Nairobi, also housing the largest indoor family entertainment center in Kenya – The Hub Park.
