Three suspects have been arrested in Narok after they were found in possession of four pieces of elephant tusks.
The tusks are estimated to weigh 27kg and with an estimated street value of Ksh 2.7 million as confirmed by DCI.

“Three suspects found with four pieces of elephant tusks have been arrested in Narok following a joint operation by DCI’s Serious Crime Unit detectives and the area police.
Joseph Mutuku, 44, Julius Mwanduka Kiema, 72 and Alfred Nzioka Mutie, 44 were arrested at Kisiriri area in Narok North. The tusks weighing 27kg with an estimated street value of Sh2.7 million was found in their possession.
The three have been locked up in cells pending arraignment for relevant offences under the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act 2013 (WCMA).” said DCI
