President Donald Trump has kicked off his sweep on federal workers ordering the layoff of nearly all probationary workers who had not gained civil service protection.
In what the Trump administration wants to shrink the size of federal employees, more layoffs are expected soon which will affect hundred of thousands of workers. Other agencies have already warned its employees of impending layoffs.

The Office of Personnel Management which serves as a human resources department for the federal government was responsible for the latest purge on probationary workers targeting mostly those were barely a year old in their jobs.
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order warning federal employees to expect large scale reduction of employees.
Billionaire Elon Musk who has put in-charge of Government efficiency called for the removal of entire agencies if the country was remove previous ‘weeds’ that existed.
“I think we do need to delete entire agencies as opposed to leave a lot of them behind. If we don’t remove the roots of the weed, then it’s easy for the weed to grow back.” he said
