President-Elect Donald Trump is set to give Tik Tok a 90 days extension period to avoid a ban, days after it was confirmed that the social media platform will face the ban in the U.S.
The news follows reports that the social media platform posses security concern to the U.S, allegations that were also raised during President Trump’s first term in office.

TikTok was however issued a lifeline in its operations if it could get a buyer in the U.S before the set January 19th deadline, a decision that was also upheld by the Court.
Back home its closure has been called for before given the gross content that has been shared during wee hours of the night. Politicians and Kenyans at large have called for its moderation if not closure as most of those engaging in the vice are young Kenyans.
