Two suspects have been arrested by anti-narcotics detectives in Boa, Kombani area in possession of 12 sacks of marijuana.
The two suspects identified as Kassim Omar Konerwa, 34 and Issa Omar Konerwa, 24 were arrested inside a homestead before they were taken in custody pending arraignment in court.

“Two suspects of trafficking in narcotics have been arrested by Coast region anti-narcotics detectives, following an early morning raid at a homestead in Boa, Kombani area.
The two, Kassim Omar Konerwa, 34 and Issa Omar Konerwa, 24 were arrested with 12 sacks of marijuana, believed to have been stored at the homestead pending distribution.
They have been placed in custody pending arraignment.
The arrest of the two comes at a time when major operations by the anti-drug detectives continue across the region, with a view to combat the drug use and trafficking menace that had once rocked the area.” said DCI
