Detectives have linked tow firearms recovered two months ago to 18 armed robberies in various parts of the country.
Through a ballistic report, the detectives established that the firearms have been used to commit crimes in Nairobi, Kiambu, Muranga, Nakuru and Kajiado counties.

In a ballistic report prepared by ballistic experts based at the DCI National Forensic Laboratory, the two firearms were linked to a spate of previous armed robberies reported in parts of Nairobi, Kiambu, Muranga, Nakuru and Kajiado counties.
The firearms a Czeska CZ 75B S/No. B022944 and a CZ P-07 S/No. C626319 were recovered on June 27, 2023 from two notorious criminals identified as Ezekiel Kiarie Njoki and David Mwangi Gakuru.” said DCI
