Two men reported missing found dead in Kasarani and Kiambu

The bodies of two men who were reported missing on New year’s eve and on Friday have been found in Nairobi’s Kasarani area and Kiambu County.

The fist body was that of Ian Singoe who went missing in Nairobi after travelling from Bomet on 24th December 2024 to attend to some job related issues.

According to his mother Pauline Korir, her son went out to an entertainment joint on 31st December with his friends and that was the last time he was seen alive.

His phone was however active up to 1st January 2025 before it went off. At the time they had reported the matter to the police. Investigations into his death has been launched.

On Saturday, residents of  Kawaida area, Kiambu County discovered the body of a 27-year-old man who was reported missing on Friday.

 John Muchiri Muthoni went missing under unclear circumstances on 3rd January 2025. His girlfriend confirmed receiving a phone call directing her to the location of his body which was found naked with visible injuries.

The body of John has since been transferred to Kihara Sub-County Hospital Mortuary pending an autopsy to reveal the cause of death.
