Makadara Law Court has released two Nigerians and prime suspects behind the gruesome murder of Rita Waeni.
Issuing the order was Magistrate Agnes Mwangi who ordered William Ovie Opia and Johnbull Asbour to appear before the investigator once per week.
The two suspects have been in custody since January 22nd, 2024 as the court allowed the police ample time to complete their investigation.

Rita Waeni, a Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) student was found dead on January 14th in one of the most gruesome deaths in the country.
Her badly dismembered body was found inside an Airbnb with her head missing. Days later, her head was found and the cause of death was confirmed as strangulation before the killer dismembered her.
