Two university students are feared dead after they drowned at a popular park and chill joint off Thika Road, Juja sub-county.
The spot well known for its scenic view has been considered dangerous given the slope overlooking the dam and where the vehicles park when enjoying the day.
Citizen TV established that the two university students are male aged 21 and 22 years and died from drowning after taking a swim at the dam.

It took the effort of Kiambu County divers to retrieve their bodies on Sunday before they were taken to General Kago Funeral Home pending further investigation.
Back in January, a couple also drowned at the same place when the car they were in pludged into the dam.
According to those at the scene, they were alerted by cries of help only to find the vehicle in the dam and the woman swimming desperately to save herself.
“I heard a woman screaming; she was in the water trying to swim and save herself, but there were no divers around. After the car went into the dam, the woman managed to escape through the windows,” said a witness to Citizen TV
