US First Lady Jill Biden has on Monday tested positive for COVID-19 as confirmed by her communications director Elizabeth Alexander.
It has been confirmed that FLOTUS is currently experiencing mild symptoms and remains in their Rehoboth Beach home in Delaware as she recuperates.
“This evening, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently experiencing mild symptoms. She will remain at their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,” said Elizabeth Alexander.

The White House through a statement confirmed that a test was conducted on President Joe Biden who has tested negative for the virus but will continue to receive regular tests to monitor for symptoms.
“Following the First Lady’s positive tests for COVID-19, President Biden was administered a COVID test this evening. The president tested negative. The President will tests at at regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms.” said the White House
The news comes at a time when Joe Biden is expected to attend the G20 summit in New Delhi, India this week.
He will also hold bilateral talks with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines as confirmed by White House.
