Veteran journalist Mambo Mbotela has on Friday morning passed away at the age of 84 years.
Mbotela who is well known for his TV segment ‘jee huu ni ungwana?’is reported to have died on Friday morning at around 9:30am after a long illness.

Speaking to the media was his younger brother Donald Mbotela who revealed that the veteran journalist had been hospitalized for the last two weeks.
His career is media has been a decorated one as he not only inspired generations but also received recognation from a number of Head of States.
Mambo Mbotela has left behind a wife Alice, and three children namely Aida, Jimmy, and George.
