U.S rapper DJ Unk well known for his hits songs ‘walk it out’ and ‘2 step’ has passed away at the age of 43 years after suffering a heart attack.
Confirming the death of the Atlanta based rapper was his wife Sherkita Long-Platt who told TMZ that he passed away on Friday in his sleep.
Sherkita was speaking in order to dispel rumours that her husband succumbed to drug overdose saying that DJ Unk did not do drugs.

“Please respect me and my family. I just lost my husband and my kids just lost their father.” she said
This is the second time that the rapper had suffered a heart attack as in 2019 he was hospitalized for a heart attack which he said was due to poor eating habits, touring, drinking and smoking.
Also confirming the death of the rapper born Anthony Leonard Platt was the founder of Big Oomp record which had signed him back then.
