A Watchman has been arrested over Thursday’s gas explosion in Embakasi that has so far claimed the lives of three people.
Detectives working on the case whisked off the watchman whose identity remains unknown so as to shed more light on the incident as they have 48 hours to complete there investigations.

It has since been established that the watchman was guarding the premise where the lorry loaded with gas exploded. Two mechanics present during the incident have also been accused of being the explosion
The arrests of the mechanics who are yet to be traced by the detectives comes at a time when residents confirmed smelling gas and even warned the two against starting the vehicle.
EPRA has since distanced itself from the incident saying that they declined applications for the establishment of the business.
