Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has promised to revive his club’s form after suffering a heavy defeat against Tottenham on Saturday.
Speaking to BBC, the Spaniard noted that in eight years they have never been in such a situation but they have to live it and bounce back to winning ways.
“In eight years, we’ve never lived this kind of situation”. he said
- Chelsea’s Recce James suffers a new injury
- Xabi Alonso set to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season
“Now we have to live it, and we have to break it winning the next games, and especially the next one…”. he continued.
On Saturday, Guardiola’s Manchester City suffered its fifth consecutive defeat raising questions as to whether they can challenge for the Premier league given the good form that Liverpool is in right now.
After the defeat, Manchester City remains in second place with points, five behind Liverpool and just one above Chelsea and Arsenal.
