French international William Saliba has been sidelined with a minor issue ahead of Arsenal’s Saturday clash against Aston Villa.
Speaking was Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who confirmed that Saliba felt something before the clash which could be muscular.
He continued by revealing that he could not train yesterday due to it but remained optimistic that it could be something not serious.

“He felt something before the match, something muscular. I don’t think it’s too much, but he could not train yesterday. He wasn’t feeling good enough to play so we have to assess the situation.” said Arteta.
The news further complicates the Gunners season filled with injuries as they look forward to win a major trophy this season and a top four finish altogether.
Arsenal are already missing the services of Bukayo Saka, Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus who are nursing serious injuries.
Arteta already confirmed that they will look into the transfer season so as to strengthen the current squad. They new signing will include a striker who Arteta has been urged to prioritize if they are win a major trophy.
