Former Nigerian ambassador to Kenya Yusuf Yunusa has passed away at the age of 73 years following a short illness.
His Friday demise at the Yobe University Teaching Hospital comes barely months after he was recalled by President Bola Tinubu.

Yusuf was first appointed as ambassador to Kenya by then President Muhammadu Buhari but after the election of Mr. Tinubu, he was recalled in what the President said was plans to improve efficiency.
“The President is determined to ensure world-class efficiency and quality, will henceforth, characterize foreign and domestic service delivery to citizens, residents and prospective visitors alike,” said the President
